Inside our AI-Powered Ops Stack – Why n8n, LangChain & LangSmith are the Brains Behind our Next Leap

Explore why n8n, LangChain, and LangSmith power our 2025 ops stack, automating tasks and freeing teams to focus on strategy, not repetition.

By late 2024, we recognized that 80% of a modern operator’s day can be automated.

After years scaling multi-brand eCommerce operations into the hundreds of millions, we saw the cracks in legacy tooling. So in 2025, we hit reset. We’re rebuilding the entire stack around agentic AI—not shiny features, but deeply integrated workflows that reduce error, reclaim hours, and evolve in real time.

The Core Tools We’re Betting On

Each layer of our AI-powered ops stack plays a critical role:

  • n8n
    • What it does: Acts as the automation brain-stem—links all apps, fires triggers, logs every edge-case.
    • Why we chose it: Open-source flexibility. We can ship community-ready JSON workflows in minutes.
  • LangChain + LangSmith
    • What they do: Manage decision flows, memory, and evaluations when logic gets fuzzy.
    • Why we chose them: Keeps humans in the judgment seat while agents handle the repetition.
  • LangGraph (Watching Closely)
    • What it could do: Enable graph-based orchestration for advanced multi-agent handoffs.
    • Why it’s on our radar: Not yet in production, but the roadmap is promising.

Use Case Snapshot: Order-Tracking Agent

One of our first pilots is the Order-Tracking GPT Agent, built using n8n and GPT. Here’s how it works:

  • Vendor Emails Arrive
Vendor partners email tracking numbers. These messages forward to a dedicated inbox where the n8n flow starts.
  • GPT Parses Tracking Data
A GPT node reads the email, extracts tracking details, and tags the corresponding order ID.
  • Zoho CRM Update
The parsed data is injected into the customer record in Zoho CRM via an n8n node.
  • Customer Notification
CRM automation sends an email update with tracking info to the customer—automatically.

Why It Matters:

  • Error resistance: Agents follow consistent logic—no more typos or skipped updates.
  • Near real-time delivery: Customers get updates seconds after vendors send tracking.
  • Team redeployment: What once took 5 hours/day now happens on autopilot, freeing ops analysts to focus on exceptions and edge cases.

Early Wins We’re Seeing

  • Tasks run flawlessly, every time—significantly reduced error rates
  • Roles are evolving—operators are becoming system owners, not button-clickers
  • Savings are real—costs are dropping without layoffs, and time is reinvested into R&D and upskilling

Where We’re Headed in 2025

This year, our roadmap includes:

  • Shipping 36+ shareable automations (3 per month)
  • Creating video walkthroughs and prompt packs for each
  • Publishing assets first inside the All-in on AI community
  • Turning our internal playbooks into public case studies

We’re not claiming victory. The tech is shifting weekly. But we’re anchored in a clear direction—less repetition, more strategic insight.
